Adorable + Affordable Vintage Kids Clothing

"Welcome to the '50s!  My sister-in-law planned an elaborate '50s theme surprise party earlier this month and we had marvelous fun dressing up and eating period delicacies like Sandwich Loaf and Jello Fruit Cocktail.  I am not a tremendous help in the culinary department (although I did put Cheese Whiz on the celery sticks), so my job was to outfit the kids.  I was all set to start scouring thrift stores, when I discovered a locally owned online vintage children's clothing retailer, Mango Monkey Vintage. Owned and operated by Austinite Danielle Long, the site is full of hard-to-find vintage children's clothes, in excellent condition.  The outfits on the site are so cute, I had a hard time picking only five (online shopping is dangerously fun!).  The clothes were surprisingly affordable, with shirts starting at $8 and skirts and dresses from $12.  I was amazed at the quality too - the dresses looked brand new. Check out the kids in their '50s party garb!

The best part is, these clothes can be worn anytime - retro is in!  Mango Monkey Vintage has clothes for boys and girls, listed by size and era. There is no physical store - all orders are shipped - but contact Danielle if you need assistance.   Happy shopping!"
